LETTER addressed to Judge Gregory H. Woods from John W. Morris dated 09/15/2026 re: Texas Bankruptcy Proceeding. Document filed by Trisura Insurance Company..(Morris, John)
Order on Motion to Reopen
ORDER granting 167 Letter Motion to Reopen. The Court is in receipt of Plaintiff's letter at Dkt. No. 167. Because Defendants have failed to retain new counsel by the May 4 deadline (see Dkt. No. 166), Plaintiff's request to reopen summary judgment is GRANTED and Plaintiffs' motion for summary judgment briefing at Dkt. Nos. 154, 155, and 159 is deemed reopened. The Court will address the motion in due course and considers the motion unopposed. Further, the Court DENIES Plaintiff's request to move for default judgment against Corporate Defendants. However, the Court will entertain a motion for default after the resolution of the summary judgment motion. The Clerk of Court is respectfully requested to close Dkt. No. 167. SO ORDERED. (Signed by Magistrate Judge Jennifer E. Willis on 5/15/2026) (tg)
