ORDER directing the Clerk of Court to close this case. This case has been automatically stayed, pursuant to the order of rehabilitation in Insurance Commissioner of the State of Connecticut v. PHL Variable Insurance Company et al., HHD-CV24-6185151-S, and Conn. Gen. Stat. § 38a-907(a)(1)(F). See ECF No. 87.The court has inherent authority to control the management of cases within its docket, "so as to achieve the orderly and expeditious disposition of cases." Emamian v. Rockefeller Univ., 971 F.3d 380, 392 (2d Cir. 2020) (quoting Dietz v. Bouldin, 579 U.S. 40, 45 (2016)). In order to promote judicial economy and the preservation of court resources, the Clerk of Court is directed to please close this case pending the stay being lifted. The parties are instructed to file a notice with the court within one week of lifting of the stay, so that the court may reopen this case.
