Judge Allison D. Burroughs: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. The Court is in receipt of Defendant’s motion to set aside default, [ECF No. 20 ], and Plaintiff’s response to Defendant’s motion to set aside default, [ECF No. 31 ]. While the Court acknowledges Plaintiff’s concerns regarding Defendant’s conduct in this matter to date, considering the “liberal standard” by which a motion to set aside an entry of default is judged in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 55(c), see Matter of G&J Fisheries, Inc., 598 F. Supp. 3d 18, 21 (D. Mass. 2022), Defendant’s motion to set aside default, [ECF No. 20 ], is GRANTED. Plaintiff’s motion for default judgment, [ECF No. 17 ], is DENIED as moot. Defendant shall file its answer by July 2, 2026.(CAM)
