Order on Motion to Reopen Case Order on Motion for Extension of Time
Judge Denise J. Casper: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered denying 6 Motion to Reopen Case; denying 7 Motion for Extension of Time. Plaintiff's motion to reopen the case, D. 6, and motion to extend time to show good cause why the case should not be dismissed, D. 7, are DENIED. Even crediting Plaintiff's claim that he did not receive a copy of the April 19, 2011 Order, D. 4, until January 9, 2012, his filings do not explain why he then waited until April 2012 to seek the relief he now seeks. Moreover, Plaintiff's motions and the statement of facts attached to his motion to reopen the case, D. 6-1, do not amount to good cause why this case should not have been dismissed. For these reasons and the reasons articulated in the April 19, 2011 Order, the motions are DENIED. (Hourihan, Lisa)
