MINUTE entry before the Honorable Elaine E. Bucklo: Pending service of summons, the Scheduling Conference and its Rule 26(f) report are stricken. The Court directs the Clerk to: (1) file Plaintiff's complaint; (2) issue summons for service of the complaint on Defendant(s) and appoints the United States Marshals Service to effect service; and (3) send Plaintiff a copy of this order along with a blank USM-285 (Marshals Service) form and instructions. Plaintiff must complete and return the USM-285 form for service on Defendant(s). The U.S. Marshal is appointed to serve Defendant(s) but will not attempt service unless and until the required USM-285 forms are received. Plaintiff must therefore return to the Court a completed USM-285 form within 35 days of the date of this order. Failure to do so may result in the dismissal of this case. The Marshal is authorized to mail a request for waiver of service to the Defendant in the manner prescribed by Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(d)(2) before attempting personal service.
