ORDER. The record shows that plaintiff delayed resolution of the motion for summary judgment for a total of six months without any substantial or specified justification. Half of that period responds to unauthorized requests for extensions of time. Therefore, the Court is inclined to impose a sanction for non-compliance with Court-ordered deadlines. Plaintiff is hereby granted 15 days to SHOW CAUSE why the Court should not strike from the record its opposition to summary judgment, sanction plaintiff or counsel (or both) in an amount of no less than $3,000.00 for the inexcusable delay and unauthorized filings described above, and/or take any other action.
