Text-Only Order
TEXT-ONLY ORDER- On July 28, 2026, the Court conducted an off-the-record video status conference, at which Attorneys Madeline M. Sinkovich (Plaintiff), Lindsay P. Hazen (Fraser Public Schools Defendants), Caitlin E. Malhiot (Defendant Edustaff), Kailen C. Piper (movant Swartz Creek Community Schools), and Jordan M. Harris (Farmington Public Schools) appeared. The Court mistakenly omitted Lakeview School District from the notice to appear (see ECF No. 44 ); thus, it is reasonable that Attorney Gregory W. Mair did not appear at the video status conference. Consistent with todays discussion, no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2026, counsel for Plaintiff and the moving school districts Lakeview, Swartz Creek, and Farmington shall meet and confer, either in person or via video conference, for a minimum of one hour, in an effort to reach a stipulation regarding the pending motions to quash (ECF Nos. 40 , 41 ). They shall file certification of same. Moreover, if an agreement is reached, then the related parties should submit a stipulation and proposed order via CM/ECF Utilities for the Undersigned's signature. If an agreement is not reached, then the related parties shall contact chambers to request a hearing date, including multiple suggested dates and times. Finally, Plaintiff shall provide Defendants with copies of any documents responsive to the non-party subpoenas. It is SO ORDERED. Signed by Magistrate Judge Anthony P. Patti. (SHic)
