Summary Judgment
IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson: Before the Court is a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by defendants Stryker Corporation and Stryker Employment Company, LLC ("Stryker" or "Defendants") (Docket No. 40 ). The Motion for Summary Judgment is fully briefed. (Docket Nos. 43, 47.) Pursuant to Rule 78 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Local Rule 7-15, the Court finds that this matter is appropriate for decision without oral argument. The hearing calendared for July 20, 2026 was previously vacated, and the matter taken off calendar. For all of the foregoing reasons, the Court concludes that Defendants are entitled to summary judgment on all of Plaintiff's claims. Plaintiff is also not entitled to punitive damages, so Defendants are entitled to summary judgment on that issue as well. The Court therefore grants Defendants' Motion for Summary Judgment. The Court will issue a Judgment consistent with this Order. See document for details. (es)
