TEXT ORDER granting in part 6 Plaintiffs Motion to Extend Time for Service. The Court finds Plaintiff has demonstrated good cause to extend the deadline for service of the Summons and Complaint for Defendants Nissan North America Inc., Tk Holdings, Inc., Takata North America, Inc., Takata Airbag Tort Compensation Trust Fund, Highland Industries, Inc., and Key Safety Systems, Inc. d/b/a/ Joyson Safety Systems for an additional sixty (60) days. Plaintiff shall accomplish service on these Defendants no later than November 9, 2026. In the 8 Status Report, Plaintiff represents that Defendants Nissan Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Company Ltd, Infinity Motor Company Ltd, Ashimori Industry Co., Ltd, and Takata Corporation are foreign entities. The Court denies Plaintiffs Motion with respect to Defendants Nissan Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Company Ltd, Infinity Motor Company Ltd, Ashimori Industry Co., Ltd, and Takata Corporation as Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(m) does not apply to service in a foreign country.
