CONSENT DECREE: Judgment is entered in favor of the EEOC and against Carlstar in the total amount of $300,000. This Decree will be in effect for five (5) years from the date of its entry. Except as otherwise stated herein, the terms of this Decree apply to Carlstar's facilities in Clinton, Tennessee, Jackson, Tennessee, and Aiken, South Carolina. The Court will retain jurisdiction over this matter for the duration of this Decree for purposes of compliance and enforcement. This Decree resolves all claims in this lawsuit and the charges of discrimination filed by Timothy Patty and Harold Simmons that created its procedural foundation. No other pending or future charges of discrimination, if any, are affected by this Decree. Each party will bear its own costs and fees. Signed by District Judge Eli J. Richardson on 04/15/2026.
