While the Motion cites to Kansas Supreme Court Rule 116, this state court rule does not govern pro hac vice admissions or mediations in federal court, which are governed by D. Kan. Rules 16.3 and 83.5.4. The Court nonetheless grants the relief requested in the Motion as unopposed and excuses Defendant's local counsel from attending the October 6, 2026 mediation in person, provided local counsel remains available by telephone throughout the mediation.
