Given that the joint motion advises that the parties have settled this case, they may of course cancel the hearing. Typically, motions filed late on a Friday afternoon tend to be emergencies or purported emergencies or, at a minimum, something other than good news for the Court. This joint motion, however, is certainly good news and the Court thanks the parties and their counsel for resolving this lawsuit quickly.
