Europe's Competition Watchdog Ends Thomson Reuters Probe

Law360, New York (December 20, 2012, 1:51 PM EST) -- The European Commission said Thursday it had dropped an antitrust investigation aimed at Thomson Reuters Corp. after the company agreed to let customers use Reuters codes for identifying securities for information from competing data providers.
