7th Circ. Won't Rehear Hospital's $300M Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (July 13, 2017, 2:05 PM EDT) -- A panel of Seventh Circuit judges has refused to rethink its June ruling not to revive an Illinois-based hospital's $300 million antitrust suit against competitor Saint Francis Medical Center.

Tuesday's decision lets stand a June 9 ruling that there is nothing anti-competitive about Saint Francis negotiating insurance contracts that carve its competitors out of provider networks.
