Nutter McClennen Nabs Former Comptroller Of The Currency

By Jon Hill (November 30, 2017, 9:27 PM EST) -- Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP said Tuesday that it has brought aboard one of the nation's former top banking regulators to co-lead the firm's banking and financial services practice group as a partner.

Thomas J. Curry, who stepped down as Comptroller of the Currency in May, will advise clients on policy, regulatory, governance and other issues, according to a statement from the Boston-based firm.

Curry told Law360 he is looking forward to leveraging his extensive regulatory experience to help banks, fintech firms and other clients spot potential pitfalls and address them before they become regulatory matters.
