RadioShack Tells Judge Ch. 11 Plan To Be Filed Imminently

Law360, Wilmington (August 16, 2017, 8:51 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt electronics retailer RadioShack told a Delaware judge Wednesday it will soon be filing a restructuring plan after the court granted its request for an extension of its exclusive plan filing period and $2 million in post-petition financing.

During a hearing in Wilmington, attorneys for General Wireless Operations Inc., the Standard General LP affiliate that purchased RadioShack's assets in a 2015 bankruptcy case, told the court that it would be moving forward with the filing of its plan very soon and would be seeking preliminary approval of a plan disclosure statement by early September.
