With fan interest, revenue and franchise valuations at an all-time high, the NBA and its players were experiencing a period of unprecedented prosperity, which made a CBA extension an easy decision for both the league and the union. The NBA and NBPA did, however, decide to set aside one disputed issue — whether players should continue to be required to attend college for a year before entering the NBA draft (the "one and done" rule)....
