NYC Bar Offers Career Support To Dewey Attys

Law360, New York (June 8, 2012, 10:28 PM EDT) -- The New York City Bar Association will offer career support for attorneys who were casualties of the Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP collapse, the association confirmed Friday, in a move its president called a "no-brainer" in the wake of the erstwhile BigLaw giant’s historic downfall spurred by mounting debt and partner defections.

The association’s first career planning session, targeted at the firm’s attorneys, will comprise a panel discussion on job search techniques scheduled for July 10, while a second one is being planned for the firm’s support...
