DC Circ. Won't Reconsider DOL's Shift On Loan Officer OT

Circuit on Wednesday refused to grant a full court review of a panel decision that struck down the U.S. Department of Labor's 2010 reclassification of mortgage loan officers as eligible for overtime pay, leaving a banking industry group's win in place. 

Three former Quicken Loans Inc. loan officers who intervened in the Mortgage Banker's Association's case against the DOL over the change because they have pending claims for unpaid overtime filed a petition in August asking the appeals court to rehear the case en banc. But...
