High Court Ruling To Spur Rise In SOX Whistleblower Cases

Law360, New York (March 4, 2014, 7:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court's holding that the Sarbanes-Oxley Act's ban on retaliating against whistleblowers extends to contractors who perform work for publicly traded companies dramatically expands the pool of potential SOX claimants and will translate to a sharp rise in whistleblower suits, lawyers say.
