EEOC Settles Breastfeeding Bias Suit

Law360, New York (May 12, 2014, 2:28 PM EDT) -- A debt collection agency on Friday agreed to pay $15,000 to settle a sex-discrimination suit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Texas federal court, resolving claims that it illegally fired a woman who had asked to use a breast pump at work.
