Headhunting Firm Accuses Novartis Of $578K Breach

Law360, New York (October 8, 2014, 3:40 PM EDT) -- A headhunting firm has slapped a Novartis AG unit with a breach-of-contract suit of more than $578,000 in New Jersey state court, claiming the pharmaceutical giant has avoided paying the company for its help filling various executive positions.

East Hanover, New Jersey-based Global Source & Search Consultants Inc. contends in its Oct. 3 complaint against Novartis Consumer Health Inc. OTC in Morris County Superior Court that its client has failed to pay up for services involving posts for regional head for quality assurance and compliance for the Americas and a similar job that appears to cover Asia operations.
