But at long last, the ride might be coming to an end, although one can never be certain given the overall volatility in commodity prices. In contrast to a low of $26 per barrel in early 2016, crude oil prices have now steadily climbed and appear to have stabilized near $60 per barrel. As we exit the challenging times of the last three years in the oil and gas sector, this is a good time to reflect on the downturn and consider what lessons can be learned for the future....
