Baker Hughes Worker's Visa Denial Overturned On Appeal

Law360 (February 26, 2021, 10:50 PM EST) -- A U.S. Department of Labor appeals board gave the green light for industrial services giant Baker Hughes Inc. to obtain a visa for its training specialist, finding that the certifying officer improperly denied the company's application by citing the wrong sections of the law.

The Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals said Thursday that the officer did not give Baker Hughes a meaningful opportunity to respond to the visa denial because of the incorrect citations.
