Watchdog Says DOI, HHS Struggle With Tribal Programs

Law360, New York (May 18, 2017, 4:53 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior and the Department of Health and Human Services both have “serious weaknesses” running programs for Native American tribes, particularly when it comes to how some of the agencies' units manage energy resources, oversee education services and administer health care, a watchdog said Wednesday.
