Senate Confirms 2 FERC Commissioners, Restores Quorum

Law360, New York (August 3, 2017, 8:25 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regained a quorum of commissioners late Thursday as the U.S. Senate confirmed Republican nominees Robert Powelson and Neil Chatterjee, giving the agency the ability to once again take major actions such as approving natural gas pipeline projects and deciding electricity rate cases.
