Canada Province Will Enter Fight Over Kinder Morgan Pipeline

Law360, New York (August 11, 2017, 2:18 PM EDT) -- British Columbia, Canada, officials said Thursday the province will seek intervenor status in legal action challenging last year’s approval of Kinder Morgan’s plans to expand the Trans Mountain Pipeline, saying the legal challenges will protect against the project’s potential impacts on the environment and local Native populations.
