Senators Seek $415M To Restore Lake Tahoe

Law360, San Diego (August 2, 2013, 8:56 PM EDT) -- A group of senators from Nevada and California introduced a new bill Thursday that would authorize $415 million over a 10-year period for programs to boost water quality and reduce environmental risks at Lake Tahoe.

The Lake Tahoe Restoration Act was proposed by Senate Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid and Republican Sen. Dean Heller of Nevada, along with Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer of California.
