Watchdog Proposes 'Sharper' UK Corporate Governance Code

Law360, London (December 5, 2017, 5:32 PM GMT) -- The Financial Reporting Council published proposals for a "shorter and sharper" code of corporate governance on Tuesday, designed to entice global investors to the U.K.'s capital markets after Brexit.

The 2016 version of the code, drawn up by the FRC, set out standards of good practice in board leadership, remuneration and relationships between board members and shareholders.
