Minutes of In Chambers Order/Directive - no proceeding held
MINUTE ORDER (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE RE CONTEMPT by Judge Wesley L. Hsu: The Court is in receipt of Petitioner's Notice (Notice, Dkt. No. 13) indicating that he remains in custody despite this Court ordering that Petitioner be released if Petitioner is not timely provided with a bond hearing. During a custody redetermination hearing, the Immigration Judge granted Petitioner's request for a change in custody status and determined that release under conditions, including electronic monitoring and regular reporting, was appropriate. (Order of the Immigration Judge, Dkt. No. 13, Ex. A, at 1). The Court now issues an Order to Show Cause in writing no later than five (5) days from the date of this order as to why Respondents should not be held in contempt for failure to comply with the Court's previous order.
