ORDER DENYING PLAINTIFFS' AMENDED MOTION TO REMAND; GRANTING SKANE MILLS LLP'S MOTION TO QUASH; DENYING PLAINTIFFS' EX PARTE APPLICATION FOR LEAVE TO FILE SUR-REPLY; DENYING PLAINTIFFS' REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT AGAINST SKANE MILLS; AND GRANTING IN PART AND DENYING IN PART HARTFORD'S MOTION TO DISMISS; GRANTING HARTFORD'S REQUEST TO STAY by Judge Cynthia Valenzuela: The Court ORDERS as follows: (1) Plaintiffs' Motion to Remand 21 is DENIED AS MOOT. (2) Plaintiffs' Amended Motion to Remand 23 is DENIED. (3) Skane Mills's Motion to Quash 43 is GRANTED. The purported 12/18/2025 service on Skane Mills is QUASHED. Skane Mills is DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE under Rules 12(b)(5) and 4(m). Plaintiffs may not name Skane Mills in an amended pleading in this actionwithout prior leave of Court. Plaintiffs' Ex Parte Application 48 is DENIED. Skane Mills's request for sanctions against Plaintiffs and their counsel 49 is DENIED. Plaintiffs' Request for Entry of Default 42 and any other request fordefault based on the December 18 delivery are DENIED. Hartford's Motion to Dismiss 6 is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART. Hartford's request to stay this action pending final resolution of the uninsured-motorist arbitration is GRANTED. If Plaintiffs still wish to pursue the claims that the Court has dismissed with leave to amend in this Order, they are granted 21 days after thestay is lifted, subject to limitations in this order.
