PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS MATTER is before the Court on Plaintiff's Amended Motion for Extension of Time to Serve Defendant Peter Verkin Through Alternative Service of Process and/or Abroad Pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(f) (DE 18 ) ("Motion") and Plaintiff's Amended Motion for Extension of Time to Serve Defendant Peter Verkin Through Alternative Service of Process and/or Abroad Pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(f) (DE 23 ) ("Amended Motion"). In the Motion and Amended Motion, Plaintiff seeks an order authorizing alternative service of process on Defendant Peter Verkin by delivery of the Summons and Amended Complaint to Defendants Seven Seas Cruises Ltd d/b/a Regent Seven Seas Cruises, NCL Corporation Ltd, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd and One Spa World, LLC, or alternatively extending the time to serve Defendant Peter Verkin abroad pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(f)(1). Upon review of the Motion and Amended Motion and the record, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Plaintiff's Motion (DE 18 ) and Amended Motion (DE 23 ) is GRANTED IN PART AND DENIED IN PART . The Court will not authorize alternative service of process on Defendant Peter Verkin by delivery of the Summons and Amended Complaint to Defendants Seven Seas Cruises Ltd d/b/a Regent Seven Seas Cruises, NCL Corporation Ltd, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd and One Spa World, LLC. The Court will, however, extend the time for Plaintiff to complete service on Defendant Peter Verkin pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(f) until February 15, 2027. In light of the Motion and Amended Motion, the case is STAYED until February 15, 2027 and ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSED pending perfection of service of process on Defendant Peter Verkin. Plaintiff may move to lift the stay and reopen the case once service on Defendant Peter Verkin has been perfected. Failure to perfect service on Defendant Peter Verkin and file proof of such service on the record by February 15, 2027, will result in dismissal of Defendant Peter Verkin without prejudice.
