STATUS ORDER. Zoom Status Conference held on 6/30/2026. Defense counsel represented that necessary documents to this case have not been produced. If the documents are not provided by Monday, July 20, 2026, Attorney Hunter Cavell and Defendant Marquis Bates shall appear in-person for a Show Cause Hearing on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 11 AM in Courtroom 1A to explain any failure to provide the documents. If the documents are timely produced, defense counsel shall notify Chambers to vacate the Show Cause Hearing. Further, Counsel shall file by October 1, 2026, a brief Joint Status Report indicating whether any motion practice may be forthcoming; and setting forth potential trial dates during the period of November 2026-February 2027.
