   TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court on pro se Plaintiff William Adams, Jr.'s "Motion for Limited Expedited Discovery" [ECF No. 40]; and the Court having received the opposition of Defendants Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, Gretchen A. Pickering, Kathryn Gannon, Ashley Marriner, and Bryan Hamilton; and Plaintiff seeking, among other things, an order permitting expedited discovery and compelling Defendants to produce various documents and information; and the Court noting that, in general, "[a] party may not seek discovery from any source before the parties have conferred as required by Rule 26(f)," Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(d)(1); and the Court further noting that no party has filed a response to Plaintiff's complaint, discovery has yet not commenced, and an initial conference has not yet been scheduled, see L. Civ. R. 16.1(a)(1); and the Court further noting that two motions to dismiss are currently pending, see ECF Nos. 41, 42; and the Court finding that Plaintiff's motion is founded upon mere speculation and conjecture, and that the relief sought is otherwise premature at this juncture; it is hereby ORDERED that Plaintiff's motion [ECF No. 40] is DENIED.
