MINUTE entry before the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall: The discovery schedule proposed in the parties' joint initial status report 16 is approved. The parties represent 16 that plaintiff is considering dismissing defendant Matthew Wood ("Wood"), who has not been served with the summons and complaint, and defendants Mary McGuire and the Estate of Donald McGuire (collectively, "McGuire defendants"). Plaintiff's counsel has requested affidavits before agreeing to dismissal. A status report deadline will be set in approximately sixty days to report on the status of the possible dismissal of Wood and the McGuire defendants. In accordance with Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(3), the court sets the following schedule (all dates inclusive): written discovery must issue by 01/21/2025; depositions of fact witnesses must be completed by 08/01/2025; depositions of plaintiffs' treating physicians must be completed by 11/03/2025; parties must disclose their expert witnesses by 01/07/2026; fact discovery is to be completed by 04/24/2026; and the deadline for filing dispositive motions is 06/01/2026.
