Order on Motion to Stay Deadlines
Order granting Defendant's 15 Unopposed Motion to Stay Deadlines regarding 11 Initial Order Regarding Planning and Scheduling. On May 20, 2024, Defendant filed a 12 Motion to Dismiss and a 13 Motion to Stay Discovery pending resolution of the Motion to Dismiss. Because Defendant did not indicate if the 13 Motion to Stay Discovery was opposed or not, the Court ordered expedited briefing from the parties, which will be completed on May 29, 2024 (ECF No. 14). Pursuant to the 11 Initial Order Regarding Planning and Scheduling, the parties are required to submit a proposed scheduling order on May 23, 2024, for a scheduling conference scheduled for June 4, 2024, which may be unnecessary if the discovery in the case is stayed. To conserve the resources of the Court and the parties, the Court grants Defendant's 15 Unopposed Motion to Stay Deadlines. The deadlines in 11 Initial Order Regarding Planning and Scheduling are stayed pending resolution of the 13 Motion to Stay Discovery. Signed by Magistrate Judge Rachel E. Schwartz on May 23, 2024.
