PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon the Parties' Joint Motion to Permit Appearance at Mediation via Zoom Videoconference. 81 . Therein, the Parties seek to have the mediation conference conducted via Zoom for all participants because the "Parties and corporate representatives whose participation will be necessary for a meaningful mediation are geographically dispersed" and "[r]equiring each participant to travel to a single location for mediation would therefore impose unnecessary travel, expense, and logistical burdens upon the parties." See id. at 2. In its Paperless Order of Referral to Mediation, the Court emphasized that the "physical presence of counsel and each party with full authority to enter in a full and complete compromise and settlement is mandatory," and that the "mediation shall take place in person absent good cause shown by the parties." (ECF No. 14). Here, the Court does not find good cause to allow the Parties to appear at mediation via Zoom videoconference. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion 81 is DENIED.
