MINUTE entry before the Honorable April M. Perry: Plaintiff's Motions to Extend the Temporary Restraining Order 27 and 31 are denied. The TRO 25 was issued on 7/2/26 and expired fourteen days later on 7/16/26. Plaintiff was instructed to deposit with the Court a $1,000 bond within seven days of the TRO being issued. See Doc. 25 at 9. Plaintiff did not do so until 7/23/26, seven days after the TRO expired. Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(b)(2) allows the Court to extend a TRO only before it has expired. Because the TRO in this case expired nearly two weeks ago, there is nothing to extend and granting an extension would be improper. Plaintiff may instead file a motion with the Court for a preliminary injunction if Plaintiff believes injunctive relief is necessary. Mailed notice. (jcc,) (Entered: 07/29/2026)
