ORDER (by docket text only). This matter is before the Court on a sua sponte review of subject matter jurisdiction. Defendants' Notice of Removal alleges that "Plaintiff lives in Georgia, and Defendant Raines resides in Florida." (Doc. 1 par. 4). But in order to properly invoke this Court's jurisdiction, the Notice of Removal must be amended to specify the citizenship, not residence, of all individuals, and the state of citizenship of an individual is the individual's state of domicile. Molinos Valle Del Cibao, C. por A. v. Lama, 633 F.3d 1330, 1346 (11th Cir. 2011). Defendants are DIRECTED to file an amended Notice of Removal properly alleging this Court's subject matter jurisdiction by NO LATER THAN 9/1/2026 or this case may be remanded without further notice. Plaintiff is DIRECTED to comply with reasonable requests for information related to this Order. It is FURTHER ORDERED that Defendants are DIRECTED to file Certificates of Interested Persons and Disclosure Statements by that date. Entered by Judge Victoria M. Calvert on 8/18/2026. (ntj)
