MINUTE entry before the Honorable Sharon Johnson Coleman: In light of Judge Appenteng's announcement that the parties have reached a settlement in principle, with stipulation of dismissal due by 10/5/2026, the Court sets a status hearing for 10/26/2026 at 9:45 a.m. This hearing will be stricken if a stipulation of dismissal is filed beforehand. The Court also denies as moot Defendant's pending motion to dismiss 31 . In the event that a settlement cannot be finalized, Defendant may refile its motion to dismiss at an appropriate time. Finally, given Judge Appenteng's evident work in helping the parties reach a settlement, the Court suggests that the parties should consider consenting to Judge Appenteng's jurisdiction before filing a stipulation of dismissal, so that she receives full credit for her efforts on this case.
