ORDER GRANTING SECOND PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF SETTLEMENT AND MINOR'S COMPROMISE by Magistrate Judge Sheri Pym: granting 57 Second Unopposed PETITION for Approval of Compromise of Disputed Claim of Minor. Pursuant to the parties' settlement, the settlement funds shall be prepared and delivered accordingly and plaintiff Roe's net recovery of $295,000.00 shall be deposited into an annuity with Metropolitan Tower Life Insurance Company. Plaintiff's parents are to be paid $30,000.00 of the settlement for plaintiff Roe's benefit as outlined in the Petition. Plaintiff's counsel is awarded fees on behalf of plaintiff Roe in the amount of $175,000.00 which represents 35% of the gross settlement amount. Upon payment of the settlement funds by defendants, a stipulated dismissal pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii) shall be filed with the court.
