Order on Motion for Contempt
ORDER regarding Motions for Contempt (ECF Nos. 78, 79): Noted. Although plaintiff's request to impose a sanction of $7,300 on the Municipality of Aguada is denied, the order issued by the Court on July 10, 2025, is quite clear (ECF Nos. 76, 77). There is no justification for the Municipality of Aguada to have dragged its feet until October 21, 2025, to comply with said order. Moreover, defendant did not even file a response to the first Motion for Contempt (ECF No. 78). Under these circumstances which leave much to be desired, sanctions are imposed on the Municipality of Aguada, which shall have to pay within 45 days reasonable attorney's fees incurred by plaintiff in the filing of the first of these two motions for entry of a contempt order.
