PAPERLESS Minute Order for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Marty Fulgueira Elfenbein: Discovery Status Conference held on 9/4/2026 via Zoom. The Court heard from the Parties. Reasons stated on the record. Plaintiff and Defendant have propounded and responded to the written discovery. Defendant also intends to propound written discovery to Third-Party Defendant next week. Counsel for Third-Party Defendant advised the Court that at this time, it does not plan to serve discovery, but she will check with her client and if they plan to serve written discovery, it would be on Defendant and no later than next week. Regarding depositions, Plaintiff's counsel will provide dates for Plaintiff's deposition no later than September 11, 2026. Defendant will provide the topics of inquiry for a 30(b)(6) deposition to Third-Party Defendant no later than September 8, 2026 and Plaintiff will provide a list of deponents to Defendant and Third-Party Defendant no later than September 8, 2026. Counsel for the Third-Party Defendant advised that she does not intend to request any depositions at this time, except for possibly a 30(b)(6) deposition of Defendant. The Parties were advised to contact chambers should they need the Court's assistance with any remaining discovery disputes. Total time in court: 15 minutes. Order on Motion for Extension of Time to File Response/Reply/Answer
PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Defendant Luv Car Wash Group, LLC's Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Third-Party Defendant Rinsed, Inc.'s Motion to Dismiss. 33 . Therein, Defendant requests a ten (10) day extension of time to respond to Third-Party Defendant's Motion to Dismiss. Id. at 1-2. Defendant requests this extension because of Defendant's counsel's "prior commitments." Id. at 2. Third-Party Defendant requests its reply be due one week after Defendant's response is filed. Id. at 2-3. UPON CONSIDERATION of the Unopposed Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise advised of the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Defendant's Motion 33 is GRANTED. Defendant shall respond to Third-Party Defendant's Motion to Dismiss 29 on or before September 18, 2026.
