Order
ORDER DECLINING TO RETAIN JURISDICTION by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: The parties have entered into a settlement agreement that fully resolves this lawsuit. Under the agreement, Defendant Fusion Pacific, Inc. (FPI) is required to make a payment to Plaintiff Admiral Insurance Company by April 1, 2023. By stipulation, the parties now ask this Court to retain jurisdiction to enforce the terms of that agreement in the event that FPI fails to pay as required. Dkt. No. 53 . This case has now concluded, and the Court declines to retain jurisdiction as requested. See Arata v. Nu Skin Int'l, Inc., 96 F.3d 1265, 1269 (9th Cir. 1996) (noting that a "district court was under no obligation to reserve [ancillary] jurisdiction" to enforce compliance with a settlement agreement).
