Because Defendants' accounting fails to comply with Local Rule 54.1(b), the motion is denied without prejudice to renewal as may be appropriate. In their accounting, Defendants repeatedly seek fees for original transcript pages and court reporter appearances in excess of the permissible fees published on the Court website. E.g., Compare [133-2 at 4] (charging $4.50 per original transcript and $375.00 for three hours of court reporter attendance) with Local Rule 54.1(permitting parties to charge $4.40 per original transcript page and $110.00 for 4 hours or fewer of a court reporter's appearance). Because this excessive rate was not authorized by the Court, the requested charges violate Rule 54.1(b). If they file a renewed motion for a bill of costs, Defendants also must clarify the nature of certain charges they assess, such as "$30 emailing" and "$30.00 min -script." [133-2 at 9].
