In their latest joint status report, the parties indicate that they have reached an impasse concerning the signatures required on the compromise settlement and release agreement. ECF No. 153 . The plaintiff asserts that the government insists on making the plaintiff's counsel a party to the settlement agreement. Id. In contrast, the defendant maintains that the agreement, which must include counsel's signature, is a standard government agreement that is not subject to modification. Id. at 2. In light of this dispute, the plaintiff's counsel requests a status conference and, if the parties are unable to resolve the matter, leave to file a motion to enforce the settlement agreement. Id. As such, the parties must appear for a status conference on September 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in LV Courtroom 6B.
