Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines
TEXT ORDER entered by Magistrate Judge Ronald L Hanna on 7/20/2026. Plaintiff's 10 Second Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery is GRANTED. Under Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(4), a scheduling order "may be modified only for good cause and with the judge's consent." Plaintiff's counsel explains that she sustained an orthopedic injury and has therefore been unable to participate in the case. To that end, she requests an extension of both the fact-discovery and dispositive-motion deadlines--a request that Defendant does not oppose. Accordingly, the Court finds good cause for the extension. Fact discovery is now due September 15, 2026. Dispositive motions are now due November 25, 2026. The deadlines previously set forth in the Court's August 26, 2025 and March 30, 2026 Text Orders are VACATED. (RAH)
