Discussion held.
Trial Schedule:
  • The non-jury fast-track trial remains scheduled to begin on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Aha Nonoi before the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi.  • The Court anticipates completing the trial in one day.
Witnesses:
  • Plaintiffs anticipate calling three witnesses at trial.  • One witness, expected to be the second witness, will testify by Zoom. Counsel will coordinate the timing with the Court.  • The United States informed the Court that it will designate the deposition of Richard Ford. [Dkt. no. 813.]  • Minor J.F. filed direct testimony by declaration. The United States will present its cross-examination by deposition designation and reserves the right to conduct live recross examination following any redirect. With no objection, the Court approved the proposed procedure.
The United Stated advised that the parties submitted proposed stipulated facts for the Court's consideration.
