Order
MEMORANDUM Opinion and Order signed by the Honorable Edmond E. Chang on 9/4/2026: For the reasons stated in the Opinion, the motions to dismiss, R. 55; R. 58, are denied in part because the Plaintiff plausibly alleged claims for disability discrimina tion, failure to accommodate, and retaliation under the ADA. But the motions are granted in part, and the FMLA, common law retaliation, and promissory estoppel claims are dismissed with prejudice. The parties shall confer and propose a schedule using the joint initial status report template, R. 2-1, by 09/16/2026. The tracking status hearing of 09/11/2026 is reset to 09/25/2026 at 8:30 a.m., but to track the case only (no appearance is required, the case will not be called).Emailed notice(eec)
