ORDER. The undersigned conducted a status conference by videoconference in this case on August 31, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Present for Plaintiff was attorney Floyd Davis. Following the discussion, the Court agreed to hold this case in abeyance to allow the parties to engage in informal settlement negotiations. It is, therefore, ORDERED that: (1) the Court shall hold this case in abeyance until October 31, 2026; (2) on or before that date, counsel for the parties shall advise the Court as to whether the case has settled and/or whether they are requesting a judicial mediation; (3) in the event the parties have not resolved the case by October 31, 2026, the Court will lift the stay and set a hearing for a Scheduling Conference.
